People ask me this all the time.
“What kind of a coach are you?”
And every time, I pause.
Not because I don’t know…
but because I don’t fit neatly into a box.
I don’t just coach one type of person.
I don’t just focus on one kind of problem.
And I don’t believe life works that way anyway.I coach people who are trying to move toward a goal.I coach people who are trying to make an important decision.
I coach people who have no idea what they want.
I coach people who hate what they do for work…
and people who love what they do for work—but know something still isn’t quite right.
I coach people who don’t know how to say no.
To work.
To volunteering.
To relationships.
And I coach people who are afraid to say yes.
Yes to change.
Yes to opportunity.
Yes to something bigger than what they’ve known.
I coach people who are exhausted and burned out.
And I coach people who are energized, passionate, and ready for more.
At first glance, that might seem all over the place.
But it’s not.
Because underneath all of those situations…
is the same thing.
Energy.
How you show up.
What’s driving your decisions.
What’s keeping you stuck.
What’s pulling you forward.
That’s what I coach.
I don’t coach your job.
I don’t coach your relationship.
I don’t coach your to-do list.
I coach you.
How you think.
How you feel.
How you respond.
How you choose.
Because when that shifts—
everything else starts to shift too.
That’s the work.
Not surface-level advice.
Not “just think positive.”
Not a list of things you should be doing.
It’s deeper than that.
It’s about understanding what’s really going on underneath the hesitation, the overwhelm, the indecision, or even the success that doesn’t feel the way you thought it would.
So when people ask me now,
“What kind of coach are you?”
My answer is simple:
I’m a coach for wherever you are right now—and wherever you want to go next.
If you’re feeling stuck, uncertain, overwhelmed—or even just curious about what more could look like—I’m here for that conversation.
